Acupuncture Works is a Traditional Japanese-style acupuncture practice focused on individualized, symptom-based treatment. The approach emphasizes comfort, careful technique and attention to clinical findings at each visit. Treatment plans are adjusted over time based on your response and the patterns observed during palpation and assessment.
I use a gentle, comfortable needling technique based in Traditional Japanese-style meridian therapy. Treatments are structured according to your clinical presentation and guided by listening, palpation and observation. Each session is tailored to the symptoms and palpatory findings present at the time of treatment.
A typical visit includes a brief discussion of your symptoms, palpation to assess areas of tension or imbalance, and acupuncture using gentle, comfortable techniques. Additional methods such as moxibustion or cupping may be used when appropriate. Treatment is carried out with attention to your comfort, your presentation and the findings at the time of the visit.
